What we collect and why

Email correspondence

When you contact us through email — including by clicking a mailto: link on this site — we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We process this data to respond to your enquiry and, if relevant, to deliver services you request.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) and, where relevant, performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).

Server logs

Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Vercel automatically logs technical data when you visit the site, including IP address, browser type, and timestamp. This data is used to protect the site against abuse and to ensure technical stability.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the site is used. Plausible is a privacy-first analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not collect personal data. We see aggregated metrics such as page views, referring sources, and approximate location at country level — never individual visitor profiles.

Plausible is hosted in the European Union and is fully GDPR-compliant. No consent banner is required because no personal data is processed for tracking purposes.

How long we keep data

  • Email correspondence: retained for as long as the relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for documentation purposes. Inactive correspondence is deleted upon request or after a maximum of three years.
  • Server logs: retained by Vercel according to their standard policy, typically 30 days.
  • Analytics data: aggregated, non-personal data retained by Plausible according to their standard policy.
